Silkpop Thank Ewe

And thank YOU for coming back to Stampergarten! :) I tried something new with this card...Splitcoast's Technique Challenge this week is a Faux Silk with a popped out image. It's alot easier than it sounds!

1. Stamp image on tissue paper. Allow to dry. Crumple up into a tiny ball and set aside.

2. Stamp the same image on white or lighter cardstock. Color (if needed) and cut out.

3. Spread gluestick all over colored cardstock base. Adhere cut out image.

4. Open up tissue paper and line up the stamped image over the cut out image. Adhere entire piece of tissue paper, smoothing out but leaving wrinkles to create the faux silk look.

I went back and scalloped the edge, added ribbon, and then used my gel pen to add dots across the bottom and randomly over the top of the tissue paper. I think he turned out kinda kEWEt! :)

Supplies: Pun Fun Stamp set, Riding Hood Red & Whisper White CS, White Tissue Paper, Black Staz-on ink, RHR Taffeta Ribbon, Scalloped Edge Punch, White Gel Pen
