Hearts of Gold

I found a way to use up those thousands of hearts lying on the floor around my desk! Splitcoast's technique challenge TLC204 this week was using "Faux Mosaic", a much-simpler-than-it-looks kind of card!
1. First cover the CS (size and shape of your choice) with sticky strip or double sided tacky tape.

2. Tear small pieces from designer paper or cardstock and randomly adhere to the sticky stuff. I chose to use the varied sizes of hearts from our new 3 heart punch instead!

3. Cover the remaining sticky spaces with embossing powder, color of your choice.

4. Emboss using heat tool

And VOILA, a fun and shiny card that's sure to catch anyone's eye!

Supplies: 3 heart punch, Ruby Red, Chocolate Chip, & Kraft CS, Heard from the Heart stamp set (inked with choc chip marker), gold elastic cord, sticky strip, gold embossing powder, heat tool
