Jan Mommy & Me Projects

We had another fun day at The Music Factory on Mommy & Me craft day. I teach music and movement at the studio 2 nights a week, then hold a monthly stampin/crafting day for children ages 4 and up who come with a parent. I love to work with these little stampers and see the joy shared between moms and tots!
Our first project was a simple card OR scrapbook page:
Supplies: Ruby Red & Vanilla CS, Candy Lane DSP, Chocolate Chip Ink, 2 way glue pen with Dazzling Diamonds glitter, 3 heart punch, Love You Much Stampset
Project #2: Filling a fun little bucket, from TARGET, with candy and a sweet little card!
Supplies: Happy Heart Day Stampset, Real Red & Whisper White CS, Close to Cocoa CS for the crimped shred in the bucket (from Target), Candy Lane DSP, Red 5/8 Grosgrain Ribbon, Red Fire Ice Circle Brad (in flower), Markers

Project #3: Wild About You wooden box that held matching decorated (but soon eaten!) chocolate nuggets! You can't see the sides, but each had one of the flowers, inked red and green, from this same stampset. The lion and his buddy are on the flip side as well...
Supplies: Wild About You Stampset, Craft Inks, Felt Fusion flower, Not Quite Navy & Vanilla CS, Red hemp twine (to fasten the flower), wooden handled boxes found in bin at a thrift store!

Project #4: Treat holder made from CD sleeve. I found these colored sleeves in a box of 50. We stamped the background, then punched out and layered the center so that it pops out at the recipient. These are not only great for packaging photo or audio CDs, but also LARGE COOKIES!!
Supplies: Love You Much stampset, Real Read & Whisper White CS, Fine Cosmo Glitter with 2 way glue in center, Scallop and 1 1/4 & 1 3/4 circle punches

Project #5: Remember Mr. Lincoln from a few days back? Well, we used his kind mug to decorate the front of some scratchpads of recycled paper (found at Goodwill!). The kids LOVED this project! No stamping at all - just lots of punching going on!
